Nanny

A nanny is a professional, childcare provider who works in a family's home caring for their children on a full-time or part-time basis.  The role of a nanny is to provide high quality care that meets your child's physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs.  Typically, the nanny's responsibilities will include caring for a child but also meal planning and preparation, cleaning up after children, helping children with schoolwork, organizing and engaging in activities, disciplining, teaching new skills, etc.  Nannies can also transport children to classes, pre-school, routine medical appointments, swim lessons, etc. Housekeeping responsibilities are primarily child related and may include light household pick-up, loading and unloading the dishwasher and the children's laundry.  Your nanny will work under the guidelines set by your family. However, teamwork between both parties often works best.  Our nannies are accustomed to making a 1-year commitment, however, temporary positions are also available.
